Rudy Huston

Robert “Rudy” Huston is the principal broker and founding partner of  Tri-Hudson Realty.  Rudy was raised in the Hudson river town of Sleepy Hollow, NY, and now brings over 17 years of LOCAL experience to his firm, Tri-Hudson Realty, buying and selling real estate in the desirable city of Hudson, and its neighboring communities. Rudy remains to be a top seller of mixed use and residential properties both in the city of Hudson and Columbia County.

While earning a degree in economics from Tulane University in New Orleans, Rudy took his first real estate course.  His initial jump into the real estate market was unconventional but extraordinary — investing and building a house in magical Bali, Indonesia. Next was renovating a family loft in Tribeca, NYC, which eventually led to a move to Hudson in 2002.  Hudson has become the true home of this former globe trotting entrepreneur.  Smitten by its history, its faded glory, and sense that a collective rejuvenation was coming, he embarked on a loving gut renovation of the building at 531 Warren Street.  It seems fitting that Tri-Hudson’s main office is this address, allowing Rudy to share his passion and knowledge of the Columbia and Greene County markets including Catskill & Chatham, but mostly with a focus on the storied city of Hudson.  He enjoys representing those selling choice properties, as well as finding forever homes and investment properties for those wanting to take advantage of this thriving Hudson Valley market. Rudy is a leading representative for rental property —  both residential and commercial — including apartments, houses and storefronts in downtown Hudson and surrounding communities.
